天長『碲』久-碲奈米線材料之開發及其抗菌活性的探討

本研究為發展快速、簡易的方法以合成碲奈米線並作為相關研究之基礎,進而實踐綠色化學的理念,更進一步探討碲奈米線添加不同金屬離子後形成之複合/碲奈米線。在比較三種不同的碲奈米線合成方法後,選擇較符合綠色化學的方式,藉由調控碲奈米線合成反應的時間(30至150分鐘)和不同的金屬離子濃度及比例,以不同變因下製備出的複合/碲奈米線,透過其吸收光譜變化,找出具有最佳過氧化活性能力的反應條件。於上述條件下探討其對於常見食品病源菌的抑菌效果。結果顯示複合/碲奈米線的抗菌能力與高濃度銀離子相似,且在價錢方面能比銀離子便宜許多。因此透過本實驗的探究,相信本研究未來有極大的潛力能夠廣泛的推廣與應用,如開發新型奈米抑菌劑。

「蚓」出生機

本研究以不同微生物發酵方式(EM 菌(Effective Microerganisms)、枯草桿菌(Bacillus subtilis)、蔡十八菌、木黴菌(Trichoderma))養殖蚯蚓,並固定牛糞、紙污泥與太空包與其 他輔料(米糠、蔗渣、果皮、腐葉)成分(原料來自雲林縣工、農業廢棄物),並用本土種的 掘穴環爪蚓(Perionyx excavates)分解,以室內分層式堆肥採收蚓糞,再用機械篩選出高純 度蚓糞;以雲林縣農作物:小白菜(西螺鎮)、香瓜(二崙鄉)、番茄(口湖鄉)為實驗作物,探 討蚓糞當有機肥,作物生長與甜度變化;並將蚓糞與剩料(純度較低)運用於雞場除臭功 能,經實驗結果顯示,蚓糞用於農作物與除臭皆有顯著的效果呈現。

熱情如火的熱傳導

問卷調查結果:有近八成的老師或學生都認為細鐵絲可以傳熱比較快、比較遠,且持續加熱,熱量會不停的往更遠地方傳遞。但,我們利用創發的「熱傳導檢測儀」實驗證明:一、加熱同樣的時間長,粗鐵絲熱傳導速度較快,熱傳遞的距離也較遠;二、不管鐵絲的粗細,不管加熱多久,熱傳遞的距離是有限度的:三、離火源同一位置的鐵絲溫度也是有限度,不會因持續加溫而再增溫。

旋轉乾坤

羊蹄甲的果莢有漂亮的螺旋引起我們的興趣。 我們除了收集各式各樣螺旋果莢進行分析,也將果莢浸水切片成各種不同紋路的方向,再利用烘箱進行實驗,我們得到的螺旋主因是:果莢中的纖維紋路方向是斜直線,果莢乾燥時紋路相互靠近產生密合的力,及纖維變短產生收縮的力,此兩組力量同時作用造成螺旋,並利用彈性膠帶模擬纖維的力反覆實驗來印證。 我們也利用鋁箔紙(兩面材質不同)模擬果莢外型進行實驗,探討果莢彎曲度、腰身等對螺旋的影響。 最後,我們設計出與常見單螺旋樓梯不同的『DNA雙螺旋樓梯』,它類似兩條單行道,上下行走不會相遇錯身。我們還設計出『螺旋週期表』,比起平面週期表,更強調每一原子接連不斷的循環特性。

Sustainable G-Polymer From Industrial Waste

This study focuses on the pre-treatment of paper sludge ash (PSA) as a by-product of paper milling industry that contains high amount of calcium, yet low in silica. The presence of high calcium content in geopolymer system will accelerate the setting time of fresh geopolymer and may disrupt the development of its mechanical strength. Therefore, in this study, the refinement of PSA properties was conducted by treating raw PSA in hydrochloric acid solution with different molarities of 0.5 M, 1.0 M and 2.0 M. The pre-treatment process was mainly purposed to decrease the amount of calcium and other impurities through leaching mechanism. Based on the experimental results, 2.0 M hydrochloric acid solution (HCl) was determined as the optimum concentration due to its ability in removing higher amount of calcium from the ash, yet still able to increase the amount of silica. Compression test on the hardened properties of geopolymer specimen also showed the deceleration of fresh fly ash based geopolymer and produced a more workable fresh geopolymer.

一線生機-智慧安全輪椅

本作品有幾項特點:第一項特點是將行車紀錄器及後視倒車影像加入在輪椅上,如果遇到突發事故,有錄影記錄可以佐證;其次,對於頸部或轉身行動不方便的人,可以利用後視倒車影像瞭解輪椅後方情形。第二項是輪椅結合Arduino設計方向燈,在行進時轉彎,可以有方向燈的功能,能使後方來車瞭解輪椅的動向,避免發生事故。第三項是將按鈕開關結合Arduino與藍芽功能,在發生意外時,可以將求救訊息及位置圖資傳送到指定的聯絡人手機或醫療院所,使指定的聯絡人或醫療院所,能夠知道其目前所在的位置。作品也考慮輪椅族會有需短暫離開輪椅之需求,為此也設計單鍵求援行動APP以供使用者之所需。最後結合綠能概念,在輪椅上方上太陽能板,供電給本作品電路裝置。

海梨柑的另一片天

本研究以在地芎林鄉鹿寮坑特色橘類「海梨柑」為探討樣本,在不同溫度及時間下,利用不同溶劑-水和酒精,進行植株不同部位-皮、葉、枝的萃取,以碘滴定法與DPPH清除率測試萃取液的抗氧化力。由實驗結果得知:抗氧化力以皮>葉>枝。而不論在皮、葉、枝,均以水萃的抗氧化力優於酒精萃取,且高溫萃取較低溫萃取佳。我們選擇最具抗氧化效果的高溫(100℃)、水萃、4小時、海梨柑「皮」之萃取液,進行稀釋及冷凍(-20℃)保存之抗氧化測試,結果可知稀釋後的萃取液之抗氧化力具有濃度趨勢,且在冷凍保存6週後,抗氧力只下降約1/5。最後,將其應用在海梨柑化妝水的配置,約相當於50ppm維他命C的抗氧化能力且有著淡淡的橘皮香氣及溫和(pH5.5)不刺激皮膚的優點。

共軛三角形與其頂內、邊內三角形之性質探討

三角形內心中,我們發現新理論將內心沿角平分線至頂點放大"特定倍率"產生新三角形其重心與原三角形內心共點。內心沿角平分線點放大另一"倍率"產生另一三角形又和原三角形內心共點,並稱為頂內與邊內三角形,兩三角形不僅全等且圖形疊代形成完美心對稱圖形。再利用向量理論創出新三角形通式使原三角形垂心或外心變換成新三角形重心。內心能變重心,重心也能變內心嗎?我們再找出並與原三角形合稱三共軛三角形,討論三者關係。最後在角平分線上找出和原三角形共圓的三角形,發現原三角形內心和新三角形垂心共點且兩三角形外心亦共點的特殊現象,進行重複疊作三角形最終將收斂為正三角形,並修正第52屆科展高中組心心相印類似研究的錯誤。

An Analysis and Optimization of Double Parallelogram Lifting Mechanism

Double Parallelogram Lifting Mechanism (DPLM) is a compact and stable lifting mechanism with a large extension range widely adopted in robot designs. Rubber bands and springs are often installed on the DPLM to lighten the motors' load and maintain its height, yet the installation positions are often obtained through trial and error. This project aims at finding the optimal rubber band installation positions for DPLM using modeling and optimization techniques. A mathematical model which describes the forces and moments acting on all the linkages of DPLM was derived based on the conditions for the static equilibrium and verified with a 3D simulation software. A genetic algorithm (GA) was implemented to optimize rubber band installation positions, which managed to find solutions with the overall root-mean-square- error (RMSE) of the net moment less than 2 for 2 to 6 rubber bands. A further statistical analysis of 50000 random rubber band samples showed that installing rubber bands in triangles is the best solution with the overall lowest RMSE. A test was conducted with a prototype of the DPLM and the results were consistent with our model and optimization. This project derived and verified a mathematical model for the DPLM, and found the optimal way and positions to install rubber bands. The results of this project provides a theoretical basis for controlling DPLM with rubber bands, allowing it to be further adopted in industrial robots that require repetitive lifting and lowering such as inspection robots and aerial work platforms.

New Approach to Food Packaging: Antimicrobial and Edible Materials

In addition to adequate and balanced nutrition in the protection of human health, the reliability of consumed foods is also of great importance. When foods contact with the environment, they are undergoing many microbiological, physical and chemical changes such as moisture loss, aroma exchange, oxidation and contamination with microorganisms. So this changes reduce quality and shorten the shelf life. During cutting and processing of chicken meat, especially contamination on the surface causes deterioration of the meat starting from the surface and thus short shelf life. Though contamination of chicken meat surface is inevitable, growth of contaminant microorganisms can be inhibited and microorganisms can be killed. In recent years, increased risks of infection due to antibiotic-resistant microorganisms have forced the discovery of new and natural antibacterial materials. It is a new and advantageous approach to avoid environmental pollution caused by the use of food packaging and safety of food, prolongation of product shelf life by natural, edible, antibacterial biomolecules in packaging products. In the scope of the project, in order to produce an edible alginate gel containing the antimicrobial peptide nisin, which has an antibacterial property to prevent microbial growth on the surface of chicken meat, following steps was done;  Synthesis of calcium alginate and nisin immobilized calcium alginate beads  Optimization of immobilizing nisin in calcium alginate beads,  Characterization of nisin immobilized calcium alginate beads by ATR-FTIR Spectrum and SEM Analysis,  Determination of the antimicrobial activity of white meat product chicken which is coated by nisin immobilizing calcium alginate gel.

「三」不轉「六」轉,「六」不轉機器人轉---從正多邊形翻轉問題到機器人掃樓梯

為了可以設計能打掃樓梯的掃地機,我們需探討正n邊形在階梯上的翻轉,因此我們從試作小正三角形在大正四邊形外圍的翻轉,畫出質心之翻轉軌跡並算出弧長與面積;接著我們擴展到小正n邊形在大正k邊形的翻轉,在千變萬化的軌跡中,找到弧長、面積的通式。同時,我們也探討:當由大正k邊形翻轉小正n邊形的弧長軌跡,並計算出回到原出發點的最小圈數,並發現其規律。最後在應用方面,我們依此發展到小正n邊形及圓形在階梯上的翻轉,並改變階梯之夾角推導出其通式,可應用在機器人掃地機打掃樓梯。
