凸n邊形完美分割線的尺規作圖與數量探討
本研究的規則:以尺規作圖的方式,作一直線L將凸n邊形的周長與面積同時平分。若直線L存在,則我們稱L為完美分割線。我們得到以下成果: 1. 對於具有內心的凸n邊形,其完美分割線必過其內心;不通過內心的直線必不是完美分割線。 2. 利用等周線移動產生的面積變化,我們簡單的證出:凸n邊形必存在完美分割線。 3. 利用研究出的[完美分割線畢氏作圖法],可作出凸n邊形的所有完美分割線。 4. 對於非平行凸n邊形,當等周線通過頂點,必存在「順坡」與「逆波」移動兩者之一。利用此結果,我們創造出「最多順坡移動建構法」,證出:最多有 個「順坡移動」。進一步證明出:最多存在2n-3條完美分割線。

長期服用安非他命對小鼠腦部紋狀體內蛋白質表
安非他命的濫用在台灣是非常嚴重的公眾健康及社會問題。安非他命會導致一連串的行為異常,包括在中腦紋狀體內釋放多巴胺及阻止多巴胺回收來增加使用者的活動力。由於安非他命會對腦細胞造成傷害,本研究的目的為探討低劑量、無立即毒性之安非他命(類似於人類使用習慣)長期施打下,是否會對C57BL6 小鼠大腦紋狀體內的蛋白質表現有影響。因此利用西方點墨法分析施打低劑量安非他命(2 到6 mg/kg) 約一星期之後,C57BL6 小鼠的大腦紋狀體中一些重要蛋白質(包括腺.酸受體A2A-R、第五亞型腺.酸環化.AC5、caspase-8 及PARP) 的表現是否有改變。實驗結果顯示,低劑量安非他命處理對這些蛋白質的表現並沒有明顯的差異。但利用二維電泳法可看到有少許蛋白質,在經過安非他命處理下有顯著的差別,如KIAA0193 homolog 、GOS-28、gammacrystallin A、malate dehydrogenase 和phosphoglycerate mutase isozyme B (PGAM-B)。這些蛋白質中,malate dehydrogenase 和PGAM-B 與代謝和產生ATP 有關,但前者是增加的,而後者減少,推測安非他命會影響神經細胞的能量代謝,因此長期施打安非他命對紋狀體造成的影響值得進一步探討。;The wide spreading use of amphetamine (AMPH) in Taiwan has become a serious public health and social problem. AMPH evokes a series of behavior abnormality including enhanced locomotor behavior by releasing dopamine and inhibiting dopamine-uptake in the striatum. Since AMPH is known to cause brain damage, the purpose of this study is to investigate the expression of several important proteins in the striatum of C57BL6 mice after chronic treatment with low and non-toxic dosages of AMPH (mimicking the common usage pattern of AMPH addict). C57BL6 mice were daily IP-injected with various dosages of AMPH (0 to 6 mg/kg) for one week. Expression levels of A2A adenosine receptor (A2A-R), adenylyl cyclase type V (AC5), caspase-8 and PARP in the striatum were analyzed by Western blotting analysis. Most proteins examined were not affected by this 1-week AMPH treatment. By the aid of two-dimensional gel electrophoresis, expressions of a few striatal proteins (such as KIAA0193 homolog, GOS-28, gammacrystallin A, malate dehydrogenase and phosphoglycerate mutase isozyme B (PGAM-B) in AMPH-treated mice were altered. Note that malate dehydrogenase and PGAM-B are two enzymes involved in energy metabolism and ATP generation. Interestingly, the former was increased and while the latter was decreased in AMPH-treated mice. Collectively AMPH may affect the energy metabolism in neuronal cells. These results suggest that the injury induced by long-term AMPH exposure warrants our further concerns and investigation.

用非牛頓流體做實驗時,由於落下流體較高的剪切速率,會造成所接觸流體的黏滯度減少,當流體落下的高度夠高時,擊中平面時所受反作用力的影響大於黏滯力的影響,而使流體彈跳出去,稱為Kayeeffect。本次實驗結果,發現當斜面角度越大時,恢復係數越接近1,當角度大於某一值後,幾為彈性碰撞。原因為角度大時液體被流體擊中時產生的凹陷越淺,受黏滯力的影響越少。而當流體下落的高度不足時,其剪切速率不夠,所以流體黏度大於正向力的影響,並不會產生彈跳效應。當變換不同黏滯性的液體所產生的恢復係數e1、e2,差異並不大。原因是非牛頓流體下落時擁有較高的剪切速率,造成黏滯度減小。又因市售洗髮精黏滯度差異不大,造成實驗中黏度影響力不顯著。

去年四月的某一天,我們跟賴老師在校園與採集昆蟲,忽然有人喊叫「喂!大家來!有隻怪蟲!」大家跑過去一看,原來,翁同學在石頭下,發現了一隻尾部長著大剪刀怪模怪樣的褐色蟲,大家看了都感到害怕又驚奇。老師告訴我們說:「這種蟲蠼螋;牠的樣子雖然長得可怕使人見了感到討厭,但是牠是昆蟲中,最有母愛的昆蟲。」「老師!為甚麼?」大家異口同聲地,請教老師。老師笑著說:〔要獲得這個答案,最好的方法是飼養牠,觀察牠的生活 …… 」我們就在賴老師的鼓勵下,採集蠼螋展開了探討蠼螋生活的活動。

Applied Red Palm Weevil Farming
The Red Palm Weevil is a kind of pest commonly found in all coconut and palm growing areas, causing considerable damage to palm trees. The pest at larva stage was found to be a popular food dish for both local people and visitors and has been commercially bred for consumption. This project aimed to develop a farming method to increase the quantity of red palm weevil larvae for commercial use, instead of the natural farming which fed the insects on rare natural materials. Firstly, the most appropriate food formula to boost the multiplication of red palm weevil using local raw materials was determined. Four food formula were developed: 1.combination of palm leaves, coconut fibers, and pig food, 2.palm leaves, coconut fibers, and rice bran,3. palm leaves, coconut fibers and cassava,4. a combination of crushed palm leaves and coconut fibers. The mixture ration were 1:1:1 for formula1-3 and 1:1 for formula 4. Equal number of the adult weevils were raised in the different food formula, the length and weight of the larvae obtained were measured every week for seven weeks. The gross weights and the effectiveness of the red palm weevil farming were analyzed using the feed conversion ratio (fcr), the daily growth rate, and the percentage increase in weight. It was found that. the weevils raised with food formula 1 yielded the larvae which grew the fastest with highest effectiveness. The most appropriate ratio of the food mix which yielded the satisfactory larvae size was determined to be 1:1:1 3.Next, experiment was carried out to improve the quality of the insect larvae for consumption. The larvae produced had some distinct smell which some consumers do not like.To improve the smell, the larvae were fed with the selected food mix added with minced fresh Pandanus leaves 2 days prior to consumption. Food mix with coconut fibers instead of Pandanus were used as control. Consumers were most satisfied with the larvae fed with added Pandanus leaves. Analysis of the food mix, larvae and Pandanus leaves found the common compound, Coumarins. In conclusion, our project found a suitable system of red palm weevil farming an alternative to conventional method which farmed the pest on cut palm trees. The new method resulted in the best yield of insect larvae with the highest consumer satisfaction and reduce destroying natural resource.

網路上流傳當可樂遇上曼陀珠時會產生噴泉效應,為了進一步了解其原因,因此進行本次研究。我們綜合所有實驗結果和討論來推論,除了曼陀珠含有的阿拉伯膠成份之外,其他因素如裝可樂的容器、容量與曼陀珠的比例、物品中薄荷、糖的成分、可樂本身含有的二氧化碳多寡皆會影響可樂的噴發;另外,可樂的噴發現象是由於它是一個過飽和液體,當有一個不同相的媒介(如固體)投入之時,就容易形成干擾源,進而造成這個不穩定的液體產生噴泉效應,故阿拉伯膠並不是造成曼陀珠使可樂噴發的唯一原因;並經由這次的實驗發現,曼陀珠放進可樂後,導致噴發效果最好的物質依序為:阿拉伯膠、砂糖,最後則為薄荷精。

去年七月二十五日“賽浴瑪”颱風在高雄登陸,一星期後“薇拉”颱風在基隆登陸,使木省南北兩區,遭到了慘重的災害。據報導,“賽洛瑪” 颱風中心,挾雷霆萬鈞之勢通過高雄時,風力最大 16 級( 10 級就能把樹連根拔起),吹襲兩小時,使當地面目全非;塌屋兩萬,沉船 18 艘,高壓輸電鐵塔倒塌 60 多座,電桿折斜七千多支,並吹毀數頁公噸重的貨櫃吊桿起重機等。當時的狀況是:八時三十分前未能感覺颱風的來襲,至八時五十分左右沿海地區,忽然被籠罩在狂颱下,九時止,市區的大樓鷹架幾乎同時被吹掉,呼嘯之聲不絕於耳,九時三分市郊的輸電鐵塔的使後繼倒塌,九時二十分,風力稍息,十五分鐘後,再度肆虐,而捲入狂風暴雨,使天地失色,人車斷絕,把百萬市民帶進白天無水,夜晚無燈之世界。嘉義地區也遭了洪水的災害。台潤每年幾乎都遭颱風的襲擊,而我們對她的知識不多,尤其是威力最大的中心附近旋渦等等。

豆科作物發芽過程中澱粉酉每活性變化的研究
種子一旦發芽,將再度重現植物生機,在眾多的影響發芽的因素中,充足的能量和養分供給,為胚之生長發育所不可或缺。種子萌發時,可誘導產生一系列之水解酵素,如澱粉酶(1 , 3 . 5 , 6 , 8 )、蛋白酶( 9 )、脂肪酶( 7 )等,分別將子葉或胚乳中神儲存的養分,分解成胚生長所必需的還原醣、胺基酸、脂肪酸和甘油等。在三種不同類型的豆科種子中,如綠豆( Phaseolus , aureus L. )富含澱粉( 2 ) 花生( Arachis hypogaea L.)種子脂肪含量較多,而黃豆( G lycine mox (L.) Merill )則貯有大量的蛋白質,在種子發芽過程中,由上述三類作物種子所產生之澱粉酶量及其活性有何變化,是否與整個發芽過程呈正比關係,乃本實驗研究之動機”於本研究中,我們將以最簡明而有效的方怯( 4 ) ,來闡述其關係,或可為高中生物教學之參考。

校園經過許多老師的齊心協力,種植了許多的蝴蝶蜜源與食草之後,吸引了許多的蝴蝶前來採蜜與棲息;為了更了解蝴蝶的生態,我們進行了中長期的調查研究;調查場域為校園內各主要蜜源和食草分佈地區;調查對象為蝴蝶蜜源與食草、成蝶、幼蟲。希望最後的調查研究成果能夠幫助校園內營造更適合蝴蝶的生物多樣性棲地,並能夠永續經營,讓校園中能夠擁有豐富的蝶類生態,成為一所「蝴蝶學校」。

In Tlaxcal Nopalli(Nopal Tortilla)
To contribute to the feeding of the popular sector using a product of the basic basket of\r consumption and in simultaneous form to operate a natural resource, that when being combined\r will derive in a rich product in nutrients. With this project we try to offer to the population an\r innovating product, based on a food of daily but added consumption with all the nutrients of the\r nopal, of this form will be a better nutrition in the tortilla consumers. In Mexico, like in some\r countries of Central America, the maize products, like the tortilla, are the base of the popular\r feeding, its consumption is related closely to the obtaining of energy, calcium, fiber, iron and zinc,\r which usually display deficit levels in the population of the region. The contributions of the nopal\r are diverse, because it counts with some different nutritional and medicinal properties.
