機械加工過程中往往遇到形狀複雜工件,無法用一般虎鉗夾持進行加工。若需加工複雜工件時,需使用V 形槽、壓枕……等等夾具加以輔助,但有些夾具根本無法夾持。若用特殊夾具需拆除原有之虎鉗,而且還必須校正,工作繁雜又浪費很多時間。 本設計之優點為不需更換虎鉗,直接放在虎鉗鉗口即可夾持不規則的物體,利用正向力的作用夾持而不打滑,輕易達到夾持時之穩定和足夠之夾持力,以達迅速、不需使用特殊夾具、不需再校正、可當平行塊之多功能夾具,使複雜形狀之工件加工簡單化、迅速化之設計。;When handling workpieces in complicated and irregular shape in the mechanical process, users are unable to make it with ordinary vises. V-block and clamping block might help, while some others do not work at all. In such cases, the user has to tear the vise apart and then do some correction, which is complicated and time-wasting. The strength of this design is that there is no need to replace the vise. The user just puts this device on the vise clamp to clamp the irregular object. The vertical clamping force makes the piece at work stable and allows no slipping. With this device, no special fixture or further correction is needed. It can also be used for a parallel block if necessary. In other words, as a fixture of multiple functions, the device makes the processing work simpler and more efficient than ever.

Automated Traffic Light
This Project is inspired by the situation incurred by pedestrians, which for the most part are students who need a crossway in order to obtain public transportation or to get to the school; the difficulties that are faced by the personnel to exit the parking lot as well as the students who have a vehicle and to help those parents who drop and pick up their children at the school. At the same time, we would like to reduce the amount of contaminated gas emissions that are emanated into our environment. As consequence of the emission of toxic substances, the air contamination can cause side effects such as the burning of eyes or ears, throat irritation and itching and or respiratory problems. Under determined circumstances, some chemical substances that are found in the contaminated air can produce cancer, congenital malformation, brain damage and disorders to the nervous system, as well as, pulmonary damage and harm to the respiratory tract. For the present investigation it has been suggested as a primary goal: The development of a device, in this case a traffic light, which has the objective to reduce the previously mentioned traffic/security problems that arise upon entering and exiting the institution. The secondary goal is to have a friendly ecological impact within our community. This device was built and tested during a month to obtain figures and demonstrate benefits reported. The device should be low maintenance, it should have a long lifetime and, be simple enough to be operated by those who use it. Among the benefits found, the safety of the students, the prevention of accidents such as: car crashes and run overs, etc. Our studies indicate that per week it is consumed an average of 2,020.16 liters of gasoline, in schedules of 13 hours (from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM) to lessen this figure would have a good ecological impact since all the hydrocarbon emission are harmful to health.

從小習染之餘,對篆刻藝術的濃厚興趣及對電腦程式之熱愛,萌生將篆刻藝術與電腦 科技結合,於是應用PHP(Professional Home Page)的文字圖形(Text Image)處理功能 將中華文化之篆刻藝術透過網際網路推廣到世界各角落。本研究規劃建置了一個 FreeBSD Server 可完善處理PHP 功能的作業平台、應用PHP 的文字圖形處理功能,編 寫可在線上DIY 設計印章的程式,以及藉由Java Script 的技術在Client 端建立一個人 性化且相容性高之使用者界面網頁,達到提供多語系、多功能、依使用者偏好作調整 印章及輸出分享的功能。為使非漢語系國家能深刻體驗中華篆刻藝術,本研究同時建 立一個超過三萬筆之由英文名音譯中文名的資料庫,提供給使用者切身的服務。 Inspired by the interest of the art of seal engraving and the love for the computer programming beginning from my childhood, I combine the art of seal engraving and computer technology, and apply the Text-Image's function of PHP to promote the seal-engraving art of Chinese culture via the Internet to everywhere around the world. This project constructs a FreeBSD Server to process PHP platform perfectly, applies the Text-Image's function of PHP to write a program for online DIY pattern design, and uses Java Script to establish a human and compatible user-interface web page for clients to provide multi-language, multi-function, and being able to adjust pattern according to the user's preference and output sharing functions. This project also sets up a database of English-Chinese translation of over thirty thousand English terms to help people who are not Chinese to experience the art of seal engraving.

Effects of Macromolecular Crowding on Model in vitro Antigen-Antibody Reactions
Many biological processes in the human body take place in intracellular environments under crowded conditions. This means that such cellular activities occur in the presence of inert macromolecules. These macromolecules are thought to have large effects on reaction rates and equilibria. However, under conventional conditions, these same processes are studied in vitro under uncrowded conditions in dilute buffers and therefore not reflective of physiological conditions. Hence, this project aims to study the effect of macromolecular crowding on antigen-antibody reactions in an attempt to mimic intracellular environments. It also aims to highlight the importance of introducing crowders as a factor of study in conventional in vitro experiments involving cellular reactions. The model reaction investigated involves human collagen type 1 on skin samples and specific antibodies against these antigens. Inert macromolecules of defined hydrodynamic radius and charge were added into the reaction media while quantitative tests are conducted to determine the effect of crowding on the rate and extent of reaction. The macromolecular crowders used were Dextran Sulphate, Ficol170, Ficol1400 and Polyvinylpyrrolidone360. Results were than analysed with the Metamorph 7 imaging system to determine signal strength under crowded and non-crowded conditions. At high primary antibody dilutions, skin samples incubated with a primary antibody solution crowded with a combination of inert macromolecules showed improve signal strength. This could be because crowding tends to shift reaction equilibria such as to minimise the amount of excluded volume, leading to association of the antigen and its specific antibody. This is known as the excluded volume effect. In addition, crowding the primary antibody solution helped increase the rate of reaction. The results also suggest that the addition of crowders may reduce the amount of antibodies needed per sample and decrease the necessary incubation time. Therefore, antigen-antibody reactions can be done more cost-effectively, However, the presence of charged macromolecules such as Dextran Sulphate has an inhibitory effect. Further work is also needed to establish whether macromolecular crowding enhances specificity and thereby reduce autoflourescence of the skin sample.

Thus, we added some rules on the question: the queen loses one diagonal attacking-way and become the “lame queen”. We call a way that doesn’t make any lame queen attacks another one “a good way”. We have been investigating the amount and properties of good ways based on six kinds of chessboard: (1)We found the correspondences between the “good way” on n × n plane chessboard and the Perfect extremal Skolem-type sequence, and concluded some associated properties and theorems. (2) On m× n plane chessboard, we fixed the length n of one side of the chessboard, and accomplished the amount of good ways when n is small. We also correspond the good way to the Generalized Skolem.(3)We found the correspondences between the “good way” on n × n torus chessboard and the arrayal of complete residue system, and concluded some associated properties and theorems.(4)On m× n torus chessboard, we fixed the gcd(m,n) (greatest common divisor of m and n), and accomplished the amount of good ways when gcd(m,n) is small.(5)On n × n cylinder chessboard, we proved that this kind of chessboard is equal to torus chessboard. So the good ways, characters, and theorems on cylinder chessboard are the same as on the torus one.(6)On m× n cylinder chessboard, we separate it into two cases: left-right cylinder chessboard and up-down cylinder chessboard. We concluded some associated properties and theorems, and we also fixed the length n of one side of the chessboard and accomplished the amount of\r the good ways when n is small.

Based on the 1st law of thermodynamics dU=dQ+dW, The deformation caused by applied force supplies energy to the rubber and reduce its entropy, the heat dQ (=TΔS) released by the reduction of entropy causes the temperature rise of rubber as dU=0. We report the study on the correlation of thermal properties and the molecular network in rubber, from the measurements of temperature change, the changes of entropy and the changes of states’ number were estimated.

茶由於其具有特殊的芳香氣味及口味,廣泛地被世人用為飲料,近年來的研究證據顯示茶具有促進身體健康和防癌功效,但茶中之成分,尤其兒茶素隨茶及茶沖泡方式而有所不同,因此對於茶中成分及沖泡方式的認知是一門重要的課題。 本實驗主要是探討茶沖泡方式及儲藏條件,對於茶液中成分變化的影響,探討的茶包含紅茶、烏龍茶、綠茶及其茶包。並使用質譜儀及高效能液相層析儀配備紫外光偵測器分析茶液中之成分,實驗結果顯示加蓋子的茶杯儲存茶時比沒蓋子的要好;成分變化速率又以未發酵的綠茶較發酵的紅茶和烏龍茶快;低溫儲存時,亦可延緩茶的成分變化,例如加蓋並存放於冰箱,茶甚至可置放至隔夜其成分均不會改變;尤其本實驗尚發現照光與否影響茶液成分變化甚鉅。;Tea is the most widely accepted and consumed beverage worldwide due to its characteristic aroma and taste. Recent studies have provided the strong scientific basis for understanding the health promoting effects and cancer preventive actions of tea. The components of tea especial the catechins are varied with the conditions of making tea. To understand and determine the chemical composition of tea is very important. Some investigations of the parameters on the storage and making of tea were carried on in this study. The kinds of tea studied were including black tea, oolong tea, green tea, and instant tea bags. A high performance liquid chromatograph combined with UV detector was used to analyze the components of tea. The results showed that the composition of tea solution is dependant of the exposure of light. The tea kept in cup with cover was better than that without cover. The ingredients in green tea were changed faster than those in fermentative black tea and oolong tea. The components of tea can be kept unchanged for a long time at low temperature. In refrigerator, the time can be extended to overnight.

由於奈米科技進步,奈米材料應用在產業上具有多功能的性質。本研究使用不同波美度的色料餵食家蠶,以找出最佳的彩色蠶繭色澤,並研究其如何影響家蠶所結出的蠶繭及色料附著在蠶繭上的絲。同時對色料附著的蠶繭進行水洗、光照、微結構的觀察,以試圖找出色料與波美度之最佳組合參數。由本實驗結果得知,利用奈米色料溶液60 ml,在紅色:1.048、藍:1.058、黃:1.039 的參數下,混合飼料30g,可獲得最佳的彩色蠶繭結繭成功率、均勻度較佳、耐褪色與耐洗滌等優點,並且可獲得表面結構光滑且較細的絲徑,約為19.87μm。相對的,一般色料粒徑為微米級,色彩度優於奈米色料,但表面結構較奈米色料粗糙且線徑較粗,約為21.51μm,易於褪色及不耐洗滌。 Because of the great progress of nano-technology, it has the quality of multi-functions to make use of nano-materials on industrial property. The purpose of this study is to find the best colored silkworm cocoons by mixing different consistency of pigments to feed silkworms. At the same time, this study wished to explore how the different consistency of pigments influenced the silkworm cocoons that the silkworms produced. Besides, in order to find the better association between pigments and Baume degrees, this study exposed the cocoons under different lights, washed with different detergents and take observations of micro-structure of the cocoons. The results of this study are as follows: using the nano-pigments 60 ml in different density, that is, red:1.048, blue:1.058, and yellow:1.039, then mixed them with silkworms’ forage 30g , in this way, best successful ratio to get colored cocoons, desired high visual effects in color, well distribution, long duration and strong resistance to detergents agents are obtained. In addition, we can still get glossy appearance and fine cocoons; the wire diameter is about the size of 19.87μm. On contrast, feeding with the ordinary pigments, the degree of colored silk is better than feeding with the nano-pigments, but the appearance of cocoons are rough and the wire diameter is about the size of 21.51μm.

So we can find that if any body home or the lock is very hoard to open or to break. Then the thief is always choice to give up. That prove if we con let the thief think the house is some body home. Then it can to avoid larceny. This project is about how to design a system which is used AI technology to be a robot that is like a human. That robot can talk to the thief and can be a special lock when the thieves try to break the lock of door. The goal of this project is to design a robot that will be a door angel. It will let thief thinks that is some people always in the house. So they can not to steal in this house. We use the AI speech recognition & house environment control I/O system to be a robot which is setup in the door. It is like an angel to protect our home and family. And can stop the larceny. 「住宅竊盜犯罪」一直持續困擾著人類社會,住宅竊案最常發生於大白天,小偷常趁著家中成員上班、上學等時機,稍加觀察,再加以測試(按門鈴) ,確定家中無人,下手破壞鎖具侵入搜括;小偷只要遇到非常難開的鎖或認為有人在家就不會進一步的行竊。所以這證明只要讓小偷認為家裡有人,就能防止竊案的發生,而我們的研究目的就是如何在小偷還在徘徊尋找目標時,就要讓他感到這一家不能偷,如何讓他感覺家裡有人,進而打消入侵行竊的意念。我們希望能設計一套系統,利用AI人工智慧語音辨識及家庭環境控制,來建立一個充滿智慧的門神機器人,來事先嚇阻小偷的行動,就像門神一樣,可以預防竊案的發生,並整合大門門鎖內鎖與家電,形成智慧型的門神機器人,來保佑我們的家庭,也讓竊盜率降低,作為竊盜犯罪防治的利器。

Pleistocene mammals of a river basin of Adycha
The paper represents the results of study of remains of mammalians which inhabited the Adycha-River basin (Verkhoyansky Region) during the Pleistocene Epoch. All studied materials belong to the Museum of Paleontology and Ethnography of the Adychinskaya Secondary School. For a long time, People have been finding ancient animal bones on the Adycha-River banks, and since 1955, the teacher, Bozhedonov Nikolai Gerasimovich, has been organizing exploring local lore expeditions for school children purposed for mammoth fauna investigation and material collection for the school museum. In this research collected material was classified, measurements of the Pleistocene Period animal bones were made. On the basis of it we came to conclusion that during the Pleistocene Epoch, very rare species of animals inhabited the Adycha-River basin. To our opinion, the Adycha-River basin is a unique site for research activity. Comparative measurements of the Pleistocene Periods animal bones were made. Of flu work we know measurements of the Early and Middle Pleistocene Period elephant’s bones which inhabited the Adycha-River basin. Elephants inhabited with mammoth. To our opinion, they didn’t yield to size to mammoth. In that time the Adycha-River basin, was been inhabited by camelopard, bison and Soergelia.\r Museum has 2 skull’s fragments and ovibos fronts part of horny stream. Geological age which is Early Pleistocene or late Pleistocene. These bones concern to Praeovibos. Distance between horns is more 100 mm. If we compare with ovibos skull of the Late Pleistocene we see that distance between horns is longer for the 10 time. We couldn’t found such comparisons at scientist’s works. It results that the more distance between horns is longer the more ancient, and skull’s sizes are much less.\r 7-8 km lower of Betenkes, in disclosing “?????? ???????” and sand bank “??????”, was been founded 3 crag’s part of skull of Soergelia, metacarpal bone and 2 skull’s fragments with horns part. On the Adycha-River basin was bun founded above all quantity of soergelias remains.\r In the Pleistocene Period inhabited a lot of horses. Which remains he have now. Our horse’s height in crest is from 142 to 156 sm. And what about of horses of the Early Pleistocene, it is more than 230 sm.\r Molar teeth of the Early Pleistocene Epoch horse are more for the 2.5 times than of contemporaneous analog.

太陽短期活動對地球磁場與大氣溫度異常的影響
This study analyzed how short-term solar activities interact with the earth atmosphere, by using two statistic methods: Diffusion Entropy Analysis (DEA), and Standard Deviation Analysis (SDA). Since solar activities influence the Earth atmosphere in its radiating heat and magnetic field, we use DEA and SDA to calculate the exponents, H and δ, of the scaling law in three time series: “the intensity of solar flare” (representing by SOLAR H-alpha flare index), “magnetic anomaly of magnetosphere” and “sea surface temperature anomaly”. The values of H and δ show the time memory and correlative relationship between the event and next event happening in time series. When H = δ = 0.5, events occur in random. When 0.5

Night Vision Goggles
Hadley has create a system that enables you to see in the dark, night?vision goggles. The military version usually retail for thousands of dollars, but Hadley’s solution costs considerably less. And they really work! He has even attached close?fit rubber swimming fittings to the eyepieces to ensure you can’t see a thing without the help of the electronics. The key feature of this project is the way Hadley has used his imagination to access and modify existing technology and explore ways of ‘hacking’ these device to obtain useful component system that he can integrate to make a fully functioning product. In doing this he has encountered many unsuitable combinations, but has persisted to reach an extraordinarily effective endpoint. The whole process, which has taken over a year from initial idea to result is a demonstration of tenacity and ingenuity.
